The adventure I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream is loosely inspired by the story of Harlan Ellison, who also contributed intensively to the creation of the game. The now defunct studio, The Dreamers Guild, was in charge of the development. Soon after its launch, the title attracted attention, with enthusiastic reactions and considerable embarrassment.
